Throughout the year Geshaview will be host to an array of musical,
theatrical, artistic, and commercial events.

Celebration of all that is Bulgarian. Cultural and historic celebrations will be recognised throughout the year. In addition to this the Village will play host to numerous charity events aimed at raising funds for worthy causes.

Exhibitions, conferences & celebrations will all form part of the Geshaview experience.

On a personal note Geshaview will host weddings. Every Saturday and Sunday will be available for those tying the knot to do so in style.

Craft and cultural weekends will bring together old style village skills and past forgotten traditions. The main courtyard building will host a full diary of visual, theatrical and musical performances. Ranging from TV show sets, fashion modelling, modern and classical bands, choirs and children’s theatre. Lighting displays & firework celebrations will be a conclusion the colourful and entertaining week’s events.

Geshaview really is a destination that welcomes you every day of the year, whatever the weather there is always something to celebrate at Geshaview.

Monthly diary of events at Geshaview

Craft

These events are held over a period of one week during the month starting on Saturday until Saturday, normally the second week in each month.

Art

These events are to display and to be able to participate in learning. The art from famous and unknown artists will be on display in the village and courses from the great artist will be on offer.

Music

These events are held within the village over a long weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and consist of choir and musical band associations and groups.

Culture

Throughout the year. Every day a celebration of Bulgarian culture and tradition will be celebrated. There will never be a day in the year when there will NOT be a day to celebrate at Geshaview.

Festivals

These are 'one off' type of events that are aimed at a target market of vistors. Rock band, jazz band, regional traditional music, festivals of youth, festivals of sport, festivals of art and culture.

Fashion

These events are aimed at the commercial fashion houses and commercial product manufactures. Cat walk, televised show film set, promotional and publicity events.

Charity

These events are aimed at associations and members of organised charities. Functions/events and evening meals will be the format for these important social groups to meet and raise funds.

Exhibitions

These events are aimed at different industries, Tourism, cars, climate change strategiey, manufacturers, lifestyle and other subject that would benefit from the central and rural location of Geshaview.

Mid summer

This is a period for general summertime song and dance. Daytime and summer evening festivities of music and colour.

Fireworks

Throughout the year a celebration of pyrotechnics will be on the agenda every second Friday.

Light show

Throughout the year geshaview lighting will provide a colourfull performance. At set times, normally when festivals and events are taking place the Geshaview lighting show will perform.

Nature

Exploration into forest crafts and education. Organic farming, growing and preparation of native food. Bird watching, nature watch, shepherding and farm skills - an all-year-round experience.

Climate

Throughout the year a continual event of understanding and education of all issues of climate change. From a rural perspective what can be done and how can we do it. For all ages.

Sporting events

Most of the sporting activities take place outside of the Geshaview village. Tennis, bowls, soccer, horseriding, biking, forest trekking, climbing, walking, fishing and much more.

Swimming pool

The main village conmmunal pool will be open until around late October and re-opening at Easter (earlier if weather permits).

Wellbeing lodge

The Lodge is open all year round. The pool (which is indoor/outdoor) is open throughout the winter season. All treatments in the Wellbeing Lodge will be seasonally relevent.

Ice rink

The village ice rink is a man-made 'natural' rink. The opening of the rink cannot be confirmed due to fluctuations in ground temperature. I is planned to be availabe from mid November to late February.

Cinema

The small theatre cinema will be open all-year-round. Showing kids screen fun during the day. Afternoon matinees 2 days a week and evenings will be filled with a selection of 'Big screen' favourites.

Courtyard theatre

This open air central courtyard stage will produce a selection of musical, artistic, comic and youth performances throughout the year. A colourful performance in a resounding atmosphere.

Open air village theatre

This open air stage for performing artists will be alive and kicking throughout the year. The main performances will be throughout the summer months.

Christmas

Annual celebration that has a 2 week lead up of festive events and happenings. Ice rink and Christmas, celebrations throughout the village.

New Year

Celebration of the New Year, an extension of the Christmas period with all the normal festiive activities available.

Martinitza

This event is a traditional celebration of the coming of spring. Traditional and cultural events to celebrate this national celebration. Food, wine, drink and entertainment.

Easter

Annual observance at this religious and celebrative time of year. 'Veligden' is celebrated with many traditional customs and culinary delights.
