At 260 metres above sea level, winter in Bulgaria brings with it a rhythmical covering of snow and thawing throughout the months of December, January and February.
Winter offers skating on the rink in the village and gentle skiing is a 45 minute drive away. The Geshaview village in rural Bulgaria has been designed to take full advantage of this with a ‘winter wonderland’ of fun and activity throughout the season.
An unexpected overnight blanket of snow brings with it a great day of snowshoe walking, forest trekking, tobogganing and snowmen… the day turns into an evening of twinkling lights, mulled wine, open log fires and outside ‘snobeques’ (that’s a barbeque with a special twist to it!).
